The inaugural compilation KALT VA 01, perfectly encapsulates the wide variety of techno sounds that the club has been able to welcome in its midst since its first programming. From ambient techno emulsions, to textured electronic ballads, through EBM sounds or sheared rhythms to saturated and stroboscopic rave sounds. there are so many and individualities that we are particularly fond of.
Friends and figures of the local music and event scene including Itako (Reach Another System, Artificial Horizon, Bella Ursa, Samo Records, Worst Record, Meta Moto...) or Jérôme Barresi (last release on the label faintest ink in May 2020, with a track referring to the club Alt Krimmeri Bis).
Club members like Lucas Litzler (Aka LowLevel) who has been developing his studio project at the club for more than a year, working on production, mixing and mastering. And founders of the initial project like Pacôme Orzi.
Promgrammed events also lead to beautiful encounters: such as Cromby ’s two visits to Kalt (Potency, Feel my Bicep) or Egregore, a record store in Sound Metaphors, a regular visitor to the capital of Strasbourg. And finally Avsulta, originally from Prague and based in London, who we met at Waking Life in the early days of the club's project.

This album is the result of a creative process that allows the artists to create freely.
